Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a multi-cultural family. Her birthplace was within South London. She has a father who is Nigerian as well as Swiss as well as her mother is English. She was raised on a south London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age 14. She graduated with a BA in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She was on stage in many productions while attending school like King Henry V, as Princess Katherine, and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career with the movie Storm Damage. Since then, she has made guest appearances on Teachers, Doctors, Casualty as well as Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film of debut is the Woody Allen 2007 movie Cassandra's Dream. She starred opposite Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. Her popularity resulted in her being cast as Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in six episodes Trexx and Flipside as Ollie. She played Bambi in the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was the main character on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others. The comedy that was released in 2008. Her stage credits are Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe was a part of Ashley Davenport on the ABC Drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode drama aired just the duration of two weeks The CW and then it was cancelled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge from February 2011. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was announced that Madekwe, who appeared on the show as a series regular for the previous two seasons had decided to quit the show following a guest appearance in the first episode of the new season. Madekwe starred as Tituba on the show Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June of 2012. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also was a character on the TV series Salem.

Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actor who was raised by the large family. She was the daughter of Patty and Roy Leggat. She was raised by both parents Roy and Patty together with four older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's family, which is all athletes, play in the summer months and play hockey in winters. Ashley didn't walk, instead she would dance. When she was two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. Ashley was hooked on dance immediately. Ashley participated in the top divisions for jazz, tap ballet, hip hop, lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe, until she finished high school. She was the top soloist in major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which were all given to Ashley.
